Countryside and Sea Cabin in Castro, Chiloé

We are a farming family who are new to tourism. We offer three cozy cabins for 4 people, each with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room in 42 m². Located on 3 hectares near the beach, in a quiet area away from the noise. The cabins have TV, but the satellite signal is unstable and there is no internet. Access is by gravel and asphalt road. Ideal to disconnect and enjoy nature. The space The 3 cabins were designed functionally and for 4 people each. Our goal is that after a tiring day after visiting the different places of Chiloé, you can reach a cabin in the middle of the field, where you can take off your shoes and walk barefoot through the grass or turn off the cabin lights at night and look at the stars, walk 10 minutes and reach the beach, that the singing of the birds is not an audio track, but the birds of our environment. If you come in the winter, we would like you to feel the rain and warmth of a southern house, to have a mate or a good coffee, to put on some rubber boots and walk through the countryside, feeling the mud, the cold and the rain. We would like you to disconnect from the exhausting routine and give yourself time to rest and enjoy nature in any month of the year you come. There is NO internet, there is a TV but the Directv signal could be unstable. We are located 19 kilometers from the city of Castro, 2 of which are gravel and depending on traffic conditions it will take approximately 30 minutes to travel. We are also located 15 minutes, or 9 kilometers from the Commune of Dalcahue, which allows you to be close enough to all the connectivity of Route 5 South and the rest of the island, but naturally secluded so you can rest and disconnect in the afternoons, just as we rural Chilotes can. Guest access Staying in our cabin will not only allow you to rest in it, but you can also tour our countryside, walk to the nearby beach, try your hand at being a Chilote fisherman or a shellfish gatherer, which if you have skills, could provide you with an accompaniment for dinner, you can tour our typical peasant area or ask us for a grill, so that you can take advantage of our terrace and have a barbecue, always taking into account the care of the environment and the privacy and rest of our other guests. Other things to note The municipal road that leads to the cabin and that is not our responsibility, depending on many factors could sometimes present difficulties for cars and 4x2s, so we recommend HIGH SUVs or 4X4s There are 2 mini-markets 10 minutes from the cabin, which may not have all your favorite foods, so we recommend buying beforehand. The 4 cell phone companies have coverage and work for calls, but depending on the weather, they could be unstable This cabin does NOT have internet, nor does it have TV
