Rockland, Maine is quickly becoming a cultural hub for the arts and a food lovers destination. The Quarry House is situated on our private quarry just minutes from downtown Rockland and Camden. This beautiful 950 ft long quarry offers guests a wonderful way to enjoy swimming and kayaking without ever having to leave the property. The quarry is tranquil, clear and surrounded by high limestone cliffs and pink water lilies dotting the shoreline, a perfect setting to unwind. The space The Quarry house has a unique open layout that is both cozy and spacious. The first floors open concept living area features a well equipped kitchen that flows easily into the dining and living areas. A dining table that seats 6 along with a comfortable living area that opens up to a large deck overlooking the beautiful quarry. The deck is the perfect gathering place for grilling and chilling out with friends and family with plenty of space and privacy. Stairs from the deck lead out to a sandy beach on the edge of the quarry. The master bedroom is on the first floor with a queen size bed and sliders that open up to a large deck with sitting areas and distance views of Penobscot Bay. A nice size master bathroom with a large jacuzzi bath/shower is the ideal spot to unwind! There's also a half bath and laundry area off of the kitchen. The second floor with its unique open layout overlooks the first floor. The bedroom and TV/ sitting area on this floor run the full length of the house. There is a full bath on this floor also. The decks are on each end offering views of the Penobscot Bay on one end and the quarry on the other end.
