The Kelly House has PRIVATE parking, a BIG perk in Jerome. This house oozes old Jerome charm but with modern amenities like central air! Pictures and words just can't do it justice! You'll LOVE it. We are pet friendly but pets must be approved, rules agreed upon and added to your reservation for a $75 pet cleaning fee. The space The Kelly House is a perfectly renovated home in the amazing mountain art village of Jerome, Arizona. You have a well stocked kitchen with basic food supplies and private outdoor spaces. Self check in makes it easy! No need to bring water as we have an RO filter. We have ice trays but not an ice maker. If you need more ice, the bar sells big bags for $3. Absolutely No-smoking anywhere on the property. If you smoke, you must exit the gate. We do not accept pets. We would love to, but had to change that rule. Pets must be approved by us and added to your reservation for a $75 pet cleaning fee. A charming home complete with everything you will need for a weekend, a week or even a month. The lovely kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, filtered water and more is complimented by beautiful cabinets, storage and stools by the tiled counter. The large picture window looks onto an incredible VIEW of Sedona. The bath features a cultured marble tub and sink with lovely lighting. Two queen beds with vintage furniture are the perfect retreat. Washer and dryer in the foyer by the bedrooms is quite convenient. Located just 25 miles from Sedona, this location is perfect as a headquarters for great adventures. If you have work to do, why not do it from a mile high perch overlooking Sedona! We have a nice office space with a desk and shelving plus office chairs and complimentary WiFi and printer. We DO NOT have a TV. We have opted for a cool collection of old boards games. Jerome - From Mining Boom Town to Art Destination: Once a roaring copper town, Jerome became a ghost town in the 1950's when the mines closed. There is much interesting history in this charming mile high gem. The entire town is on the National Historic Registry and The Kelly House is individually listed, as well. Because of this, the character of the town is unique and well protected. Today, the 400 residents welcome not only history buffs but art lovers to over 30 galleries and studios. Galleries Galore: First Saturday Art Walk in Jerome was selected by The Arizona Republic as #1 weekend getaway. Stroll the streets and stop in galleries for live music, refreshments and fabulous art. The restaurants in Jerome are superb. You cannot get a bad meal here! The Jerome Historical Society presents Ghost Walk the second weekend of October. The Halloween Ball is one of the best costume parties in the USA and is put on by the Jerome Volunteer Fire Department. Sedona Film Festival is every February. Currently there is no grocery store or general store in Jerome so stop for supplies in nearby Cottonwood. Surrounding Area - What to do: Hiking is probably the most spectacular activity with hundreds of trails from easy to difficult. Shopping and browsing the charming galleries, shops, bars and museums of Jerome as well as nearby Old Town Cottonwood is a day full of fun, punctuated by meals at tasty restaurants. Sedona is a beautiful 25 minute drive away, full of tourist activities, including the beautiful Tlaquepaque old Mexico style shopping complex. The Verde Canyon Railroad and Tuzigoot - incredible Indian ruins are just down the hill in Clarkdale. There are 5 Jerome wine tasting rooms, all an easy drive from Jerome.. If you love photography or painting, Jerome offers limitless opportunities for your artistic pursuits. Guest access You will have the entire property to yourself. The wrap around balcony, both large patios and the full 2 bedroom house. Pets must be approved by us and added to your reservation for a $75 pet cleaning fee, but we do have a fenced in yard. Other things to note PETS! You must let us know if you will be bringing a pet, agree to the basic pet rules and add the pet fee of $75 to your reservation. You won't be allowed to checkin if you have not confirmed and been given approval by the owner. There is a private parking space dedicated to the Kelly House! It is across the street on the cement platform all the way to the left. We will make sure you are aware of where that is before arrival. We do NOT have a television but a giant picture window and a collection of board games.
