Nest cottage - Gullfoss and Geysir.

The house is quite secluded, with a great view of the countryside and surrounded by lush greenery in summer. It was originally built as a company retreat, so it holds most amentities any traveler could expect. Close to Laugarvatn and only a short drive to the world famous landmarks Gullfoss and Geysir. The space We offer a unique option of lodging in Iceland. We offer a large cabin/summer house (160m² or 1722ft²) for rent in a beautiful and serene environment. The cabin was built in the year 2007 and it is well furnished. The cabin is on two floors and consists of five bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms and good kitchen facilities. One of the bedrooms has queen size beds (153cm x 203cm), three bedrooms have two single twin (90cm x 203) beds and the fifth bedroom has three single beds. A crib/cot can be found on the second floor for smaller children if required. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary utensils and equipment as well as a dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine etc, a washing machine is also in place. A television and a dvd-player can be found in both living rooms as well as a stereo sound system. Outdoors there is a private hot tub is on the large veranda/patio surrounding the cottage. There is a small closed off lawn at the back of the cottage, ideal for children at play. On the patio there are bbq grills, gas and coal, to cook the traditional icelandic lamb. The cottage is located near Laugarvatn and all kinds of recreation can be found in the surrounding area. It is only a 15 minute drive to the famous Icelandic landmarks Gullfoss and Geysir and a short driving distance from stores and other services in Laugarvatn or Flúdir (Laugarvatn only 15 min. away). Many other recreational facilities and activities are close by, such as a golf course, swimming pools, river rafting, fishing as well as historic places and beautiful scenery.
