Stay in a lovely restored farmhouse on 250+ acres of land in Dexter, MI. We are a working cattle farm with an orchard, garden, resident farmer (in a house on the property), acres of woods and miles of country roads. Lots of space! We are near the end of the Border to Border trail going to Dexter now and soon all the way to Ann Arbor! Located across the street from the Michigan Sailing Club. We're a convenient stay for University of Michigan events! The space Our farmhouse has been entirely renovated and includes new kitchen and bathroom, 2 bedrooms on the first floor and another bedroom on the 2nd floor. The farm is located 25 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor and 5 minutes from the Village of Dexter. The property has a wide variety of magical vistas and walks. Guest access There are many acres to walk, both farmland and forest, maps provided, and if Farmer John is available he can give a tour of the cows. Lots of places to relax in the garden, as well. A fire pit area is available, with seating. Other things to note The farm has a large garden and orchard which you are free to enjoy. Often in the summer there is fruit and other produce available. The farm is home to herd of grass fed cattle, which is mainly a heritage breed called Ancient White Park.
