Downtown Decatur. Close to CDC, Emory, Marta

Our house in Decatur is close to everything. There are two rooms with full size beds. Each room has a desk. There is a large closet in one of the bedrooms and a washer dryer in the closet of the other bedroom. This listing is best suited for a couple or family as the second room has only a chest of drawers and no closet. Full bathroom. Full Kitchen. Large living room and dining room. Screened Porch. Street parking in the front or side of the house. Marta and the Emory Shuttle are 4 blocks away. The space Our house is a 1930s bungalow. The house has five bedrooms and we mostly live upstairs. They rental space includes one downstairs bedroom , the use of the laundry /kitchenette room and the bathroom next to your bedroom. Our kids are in college and the AirBnB room was one of their bedrooms. This room has three bird murals on the wall so we are calling it “The Empty Nest Room”. The bedroom has a Full bed with a new memory foam mattress. The room has a desk and a sitting area with a Keurig coffee maker. There is closet space to hang up clothes. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom. There is a mini fridge and a microwave for your use in an adjacent room. There is also a stackable washer and dryer that you may use in that same room. You may have been given a lockbox code to access the front door key. If we are not home when you arrive or depart, Please message us that you have arrived also message us that you are departing. There is plenty of street parking in front and on the side of our house. While staying here, you are considered a RESIDENT. Resident Parking is on the street. We have no driveway or garage. The thermostat for the downstairs is in the hall next to your bedroom door. Please feel free to adjust the temperature to your liking as this thermostat is ONLY for the downstairs and will not affect us as our bedroom is upstairs. The front door locks behind you. You have to slam it but you do not need the key to lock the door when you leave. At the end of your stay please leave the key on the desk in the Empty Nest Room. Please hang your towels on the hooks on bedroom door. There are extra towels, blankets and linens in the closet in your room. There is extra toilet paper is in the bathroom under the sink. Let us know if you need to iron as we can provide you with an ironing board and an iron. The room and the house are to be occupied by registered guests only. Please do not hesitate to call me or text me if you have questions, problems, suggestions, or if you would like to chat. I DO NOT MIND being called at night to resolve any problem you may encounter. Many years of working in an Emergency Room have made it so I can wake up rapidly and fall back to sleep rapidly. Guest access There is a lockbox with a hey which you will use to access the key to the by. While staying here, you are considered a RESIDENT. Resident Parking is on the street in front or side of the house. Other things to note The house has an upstairs, an additional bedroom and a basement. These areas will not be inhabited and will be locked during your stay.
