A spacious modern kitchen has brand new appliances, all utensils, cookware, and spices needed to prepare meals in the comfort of the home. Comfy beds and a great view of Simpson's rest will make for a relaxed and restful stay. The space In addition to the 2 private bedrooms with queen beds, there is a semi private loft with a comfy Ikea full+ pullout sleeper sofa for 2. The TV/entertainment center is also located in the loft area rather than the living room. If you need additional space, the 1br/1br basement with kitchen can also be rented via AirBnB under the title: "Cozy 1br garden apartment with private entrance" or direct message us. Enjoy the coffee or espresso maker, teapot with tea, coffee, creamer, and sugar provided. There is no A/C in the house other than window coolers upstairs. It is constructed of brick and stays pretty comfortable. On the hottest of days (high 90's) the house may get over 75 degrees. We suggest you open the windows in the evening and run the fans. This will significantly cool the home for comfortable sleeping. Guest access Guests have access to a full size washer and dryer in the basement during their stay. The door to the basement is located behind the refrigerator in the kitchen hallway. The basement area is shared with the 1 bedroom basement tenant. The house is located on a hill with approximately 2 flights of stairs to get to the front door from the street. There is also parking and access to the home via the alley which only has 6 stairs. Other things to note For the cyclists, there is a secure historic garage with plenty of bike storage and a bike stand, tools, pump, and cleaning supplies. Incredible access to 100s of miles of gravel roads and 1 mile from the new Wormhole Mountain Bike Trail system. Many maps and routes are provided in our custom guidebook.
