You can choose between a cooked breakfast with pancakes/waffles, or eggs with trimmings, or a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Lunch and dinner can also be made for you. Do try the traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry meal which can be made more or less spicy to suit your taste. The cook can also prepare non-Sri Lankan meals. He will discuss daily what you would like to eat and when. You pay for the cost of the ingredients plus a small cooking fee. We have two kitchens at Villa Abiman. A “wet kitchen” where staff prepare your meals, and an open plan guest kitchen. Here you can make snacks, fix drinks or cook for yourself if you so wish. Our staff will be happy to shop or advise you where to buy fish, seafood and other ingredients and will gladly show you how to make local dishes.
