Woodland Chestnut Lodge by Killin, Loch Tay

Set below the Ben Lawers and Tarmachan mountain ranges close to the spectacular Loch Tay, the self-catering Chestnut Lodge (located at Killin Log Cabins) is perfectly positioned within peaceful and tranquil surroundings consisting of waterfalls, streams and woodlands. Wildlife is in abundance whether it be red deer, red squirrels, birds and so much more. You may even catch a glimpse of the local ospreys and other birds of prey. The space The Chestnut Lodge (sleeps 8). It has 4 bedrooms (two double bedrooms and two with twin beds). There are two shower rooms (with pumped showers). The bedrooms have space for a travel cot for a baby if required. This is a very well-equipped lodge which is perfect for larger groups or families. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster/kettle. The dining area comfortably sits 8. There's a large lounge area with three large settees, flat screen TV, Free sat box, Blueray/DVD player, and a CD player. Outside there's a picnic table and a brick-built barbeque to the side. This is a semi-detached lodge and the lodge offers southerly views to the hills around Loch Tay. All linen is provided and all beds made up for arrival. Please bring your own towels. These can be hired (£5 per pack) if required (See 'Other details to note'). This lodge has been fitted with a token operated electricity meter. This helps to reduce our carbon footprint and helps manage energy wastage. The power tariff based on the length of stay is a mandatory cost which is settled on arrival. We provide a free wifi service to our guests and our wifi can be picked up in most areas of our park. Mobile phone networks EE/O2/Vodafone also provide a good coverage. Guest access Guests will have full access to the Chestnut Lodge and the surrounding gardens and gounds during their stay. Other things to note Mandatory charges - Electricity and gas – a power tariff applies and is paid on arrival. Optional charges includes the following: - The lodge is pet-friendly and the following charges apply – GBP 30 per pet for stays of up to 4 days / GBP 40 per pet for 5+ days / per week. - Towels are not provided but can be hired for GBP 5 per pack. - Short breaks (min 2 nights) and full weeks are available.
