Whether you need relaxing, or relish fishing, hunting, navigating Wisconsin ATV trails, or biking the Gandy Dancer, we hope you will enjoy our family friendly getaway in the North woods. It is a peaceful place away from the city, where you can bask in the beauty and serenity of the outdoors. From cozy fireplace to wrap-around deck, there is an abundance of enjoyable space. Our home is great for couples, families with kids, small groups and retreats—pets are welcome. Get outside & enjoy! The space -North Woods Family Getaway is unique because we have benefited from an extended family of gifted builders, designers and restorers, who have contributed their skills to make our place comfortable and homey over the 16 years since we’ve owned it. We enjoy family gatherings when family members can be seen playing a game of bocce ball or croquet in the yard or chatting on the decks. Children have plenty of space to play and are very welcome. -We have a small section of an ATV/Snowmobile trail which runs through our land, a little distance away and out of sight of the house. -The Gandy Dancer Trail for hiking and biking is just 1/3 mile away. From there you can explore 20 miles of trail just in Burnett County. -Lakes and Rivers are nearby with public access points available. -Fox Run Golf Course and Sand Greens Country Club within 5 miles. -We are located close to WI-35, which makes us easy to find, offers convenience and is helpful in the winter because the roads are regularly plowed. Guest access The whole house is for your use. We only have one bedroom on the ground floor which we will keep locked and is off limits. There is a lot of pavement but it is better then crossing Hwy 35 west as the Gandy Dancer south of Danbury is off limits to ATV’s.”
