There are mango, cashew and banana trees around the land, along with many pineapple plants. Permaculture gardens have been started too. Just under 5 minutes away from the divine Nacpan beach. There is also another house on Eden about 25 metres apart The gardens are shared To access Eden from the road, there is a 50 metre rough path to the property, it is suitable for scooters, but not cars. Arnette and Jon Jon and their young son manage Eden and look after the place. They live on-site and are very helpful, and happy to assist guests. Jon Jon can cook delicious Filipino cuisine if you would like to have dinner one evening. Also, a standard breakfast can be requested which includes pancakes, eggs, and coffee for a minimal fee. There are a few local shops near by where you can pick up supplies. Lio resort is 20 minutes away, and consists of many restaurants an ATM and a few bars, on the beach. Lio also has very good WiFi. We can help arrange Scooters rentals - 600 peso a day. taxis, boat trips and excursions. Directions to Eden If you are coming from El Nido Head northwest on Taytay on the El Nido National Hwy. You will see a sign for Nacpan beach on your left. Turn left here, continue down this dirt road for about 2km then Eden is just after the bridge on your left. Eden is 35 minutes from El Nido 14km Transport from El Nido Town/ Airport to Eden There is an hourly shuttle service from El Nido town or Lio Resort (near the Airport) to Nacpan, with a drop off at Eden. We can arrange that for you. It’s a popular service, so please give us 48 hours if you want us to help you book it. Please give us your proposed time of arrival at the pickup point, state the pickup point you will be at and give us the first names of the passengers. The cost is 400 PHP per person, which you’ll have to pay initially. The pick up point is in El Nido town, ask a trike to take you to the Discover El Nido Shuttle Office on Calle Amboy, near to the intersection with Abdulla Street. Alternatively, a private van can be arranged at a cost of 1900 PHP per van. This can be arranged once the booking is confirmed with our co-hosts. Transport from Puerto Princessa The first option that we highly recommend is to hire a private van that will pick you up from the airport. This will take 5-6 hours going all the way to Eden with a short break in between, or whenever you and your group requests for a stop. The rate for this service is 8,000php The second option is to catch any van that looks almost full, outside of the airport terminal going to El Nido bus terminal which costs 500PHP per person, and then from El Nido bus terminal we can arrange a pick up for you and your partner/friend/family member and take you to Eden for another 1200-1800PHP either by private van or tirke.
