Mountain Retreat

My house is situated on 130 acres. It’s surrounded by pine trees! It is peaceful and beautiful. Your space is the walkout basement. It has several windows, bedroom, bathroom, and living space. You can also use the kitchen and laundry room upstairs. There are several decks around the house for enjoying the peace and quiet, reading a book or just relaxing. For hot summer days we have tubes you can use for floating the River and kayaks and canoes. There is a microwave and Coffe pot. The space My husband built our house so it is very custom. You will have the whole Walkout basement to yourself. There are bedrooms, common spaces and one bathroom for you to use. You have a microwave and Coffe pot and refrigerator downstairs. You are welcome to use my kitchen and laundry room which are upstairs on the main level. There is internet and a TV but you just get Netflix. Guest access You will be about 5 miles from the nearest town,Kettle Falls. There you will find groceries, coffee shops, gas stations and a cute Chamber of Commerce. This area is best known for outdoor activities. You can bring your mountain bikes, road bikes, kayaks,canoes and fishing gear. It’s all about 6 miles from my house on the Columbia River and Lake Roosevelt. There are also smaller lakes close by to enjoy. There is also great hiking in the area. If you would like to venture up to Canada you need your passport but we are only 40 miles away from the border. The best mountain biking in North America is in Rosland, BC. During your stay I enjoy socializing with guests,but I am also very busy usually out riding my bike. The best way to get a hold of me is on Airbnb. My husband works from home so he is usually up on the mountain. Other things to note We are off the grid. Most of the time you will never know that we use solar and a generator to power up and heat the house. But I would appreciate it if you would just turn the lights off when you’re not using them.
