Papa Mauri is a hardworking, kind and caring Cook Islander with a good sense of humor. He was born in Avatiu, Nikao Village in Rarotonga and raised by his grandparents and now resides in Vaima’anga. You are welcome to help yourself to tropical fruits that are in season such as mangoes, coconuts, avocado, starfruit, pawpaw and bananas. It has insect screens on all windows, doors, security lights, decking, TV, phone, wifi hotspot (meaning you have access to the internet, however you need a prepaid wifi voucher to log into it (This can be purchased from Palm Grove's office or wigmores), ceiling and floor fans, washing machine, iron, hot water, shower, towels, linen, 2 queen bed, blender, toaster, jug, utensils, plates, bowels, cups, pots and pans, gas cook top oven, range, microwave, fridge/freezer. It is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, small families, business travellers, writers, artists and professionals. Only a few minutes walk to the best white sandy beach on the island. Enjoy snorkelling in the crystal turquoise water, lax out with a good book or take a nice long stroll along the beach and watch the sunset. We are close to Wigmores superstore, The yellow hibiscus at Palm grove and Vaimas restaurant and bar. Guest access Self check in and self catering. Other things to note A Visitors sim card or eSim from Vodafone is good value to use when on holiday and wanting to stay connected to friends and family. You can also purchase a prepaid Wifi voucher and connect to the Wifi Hotspot at the house. You can purchase these at Vodafone next to Avis as you exit the airport upon arrival. You can purchase an eSim card prior to arriving to Rarotonga via the Cook Island Vodafone website. Please note that rates, photos and information is subject to change. Note: There is some noise that you can hear from the buggy rides sometimes during the day. Unfortunately the temporary noise that comes from this awesome fun tourist activity is out of our hands.
