An Authentic House at Xoi Farmstay Next to River

This house is situated in a lush valley of Lam Thuong in Northern Vietnam, approximately 250 km from Hanoi and near Ha Giang and Sapa. This is a place for those who love nature, watching rice fields, exotic mountains, spring and waterfall, authentic local culture, good food, especially non-touristy. It’s easy to get here by local bus from Hanoi (5 hours), Sapa (3 hours) and Hagiang (3 hours). We can help you to take the bus (as they don’t speak much English) or rent transportation to get here The space You will stay in a wooden bungalow in our garden, next to the stream. It’s the perfect way to stay in your own space, immerse yourself in nature, but still interact with locals. The house has 2 floors, which is inspired by the traditional house of Tay Ethnic people in the village. The 1st floor offers a table for working, a hammock, and a swing for chill out, while the 2nd floor is where you sleep and is linked to a private bathroom. There is a balcony where you can sit down and enjoy a cup of tea while watching the stream singing under your feet. The bed is soft and clean. All windows can be opened to get fresh air, and a mosquito net, an electric fan is fully equipped (no mosquitoes in winter) All the houses offer garden view (1 step to the garden) next to a stream and mountain view, you even can watch sun set and sunrise from your house! From Hanoi: There are 2 options (Need to book in advance) 1. LIMOUSINE VAN (400,000vnd/ticket) Depart at 7 AM or 5:30 PM at No. 37 inside My Dinh Bus Station (No. 20 Pham Hung str., Hanoi). They drop you off at our homestay. It takes about 5 5-hour drive, stopping for about 15 minutes for a break. I can help you book a limousine because they ask for payment in advance by bank transfer or deposit, and the driver doesn’t speak English. 2. SLEEPER BUS (big bus - about 30 passengers) From My Dinh Bus Station (no.15 Pham Hung street, Cau Giay district) Hotline 19001986 The bus departs at 7:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:30, and 20:00 The name of the bus is Du Tuyết (Ha Noi - Luc Yen), zone no.38 - 39 at the parking area behind the main hall (be there 20 minutes before departure) Price: 220,000d/ticket, PAY WHEN YOU’RE ON THE BUS. It takes about 5,5 hours driving, stopping for 15 minutes on the road. After getting off the bus at Tan Linh stop, you will need a taxi to Xoi Farmstay (12km). A taxi is 200,000vnd (or a motorbike taxi is 100,000vnd) Please inform us if you need help booking a taxi in advance, as there are not always many taxis always being there. *** Bus from Sapa: Leaving at 14:30 from Sapa Station, wait for the bus at the “Dien May Xanh” shop *** Bus from Hagiang: Leaving at 6am from Hagiang City. *** Bus to return to Hanoi: The bus from Homestay back to Hanoi departs daily at 6:00, 6:30, 7:30, 12:00, 12h30, 13:30, 17:30, 20:30, 21:00.
