You wouldn't be able to tell by walking into it today. The reconstruction of the space included floor to ceiling rough-cut pine which continues to give off the most amazing scent. It is a very private and cozy unit. Guest access During your stay you will have access to the Soque River where you will find a screened pavilion and a screened lounge with prep kitchen. A Big Green Egg and gas grill are available for your use at the river. There is a stocked fire pit at the river's edge plus others on the property for your use. Below the shoals is a small island from which you can swim or launch kayaks which are available to rent through Melissa. Melissa lives 3 miles away and is available if you have any questions during your stay. You may explore all of the property using the map provided. Our Guide Book is available online for restaurant, shopping, sightseeing, and hiking suggestions. Parking is all around on the property and included. It is recommended you have your own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Other things to note The Barber Shop is our Pet-Friendly space with a $25 fee. Please inform Melissa if you intend to bring your pet. Although the property is secluded, it is located on a road with occasional neighborhood traffic.
