Circus in the Forest. At the edge of one of the springs of Tapajós. Malocas are made from thatched ceilings and don't have any walls. The circus features solar hob, flooring, and training equipment. The water system is solar powered as well. The bathroom is dry. The maloca of the room is closed with a mosquito net and does not have artificial lighting. Gas stove is available in the kitchen. The forest has no energy yet, so there is no fridge. The space The circus in the forest is located in an alternative community in Igarapé do Macaco, in one of the springs of the Tapajós river. If it is 30 minutes by boat from the village of Alter do Chão and this transfer to there enchants you with all the energy of the largest aquifer on the planet. It is an immersed environment in the Amazon forest, where we live in cooperation and respect for all living creatures. We do not use chemicals in igarapé waters, our water system is solar powered, in our bathroom a dry bathroom system is used, avoiding water contamination. We support and encourage any kind of art in a project called Comunidarte Monaco. It is a favorable space for the performance of spiritual retreats, and of reflection, as it encourages you to break algorithms and rethink common habits of urban centers. Guest access The guest can disperse around the community at will, respecting other dwellings according to the house rules. Plus, visit the igarapés and trails.
