Spend time on a remote private island at Cindiri on the Reef, overlooking the Belize Barrier Reef, Inhabited by Garifuna and Maya fishermen for centuries, you will enjoy a unique cultural experience. You will have 1 private open-style cabana with private bathroom connected by an exterior open-air deck and separate balconies overlooking the sea with views of the Belize Barrier Reef from each. The space Welcome to Cindiri on the Reef! 🏝What can I do during my stay? - snorkel, swim, fish and spearfish from the island. - Kayak or Paddle-board. - Birdwatch. - Star gaze. - Relax and watch for Sea Turtles, Manatees, Dolphins, Needle, tropical fish and various Rays swimming around the pier. 🏝What else should I know? -We are an eco-friendly culturally responsible resort. -We employ local Belizean’s and practice environmentally responsible reef and fishing access. -We use solar power whenever possible and use rainwater for our fresh water source on the island. -If you book with us you are agreeing to be respectful of the marine ecosystem, including the reef and use water and power sparingly and conservatively during your stay and do your part to keep the reef and grounds clean and use reef safe sunscreen. Guest access Guests can explore the entire island! We have a garden, chickens and a mangrove wildlife walk. We have security dogs on the island for your protection. Building Maintenance around the island occurs at times and we are mindful of guests during your stay to not be disruptive.
