Boxel Boes Belanda, a private stay in a quiet park

This wooden lodge is often found deep interior of Suriname, the difference being that this lodge is equipped with lights, electricity, water cooker, refrigerator and WiFi. The bathroom is fully tiled. There is a spacious, open closet for clothes and luggage and of course a balcony for the hammock. The windows of mosquito nets are stretched around the entire lodge, letting in the wind and a cacophony of bird sounds. The space The lodge is a completely wooden structure and because it is situated in a park (always in progress!), in the tropics, you will have visitors from time to time. From noisy colorful birds, monkeys and iguanas to the more troublesome ones, like mosquitoes. Guest access From the Boxelparaweg a dirt road with potholes(!) takes you to the land were the lodge is. That's were you leave your car. A footpath through the park with fruit trees, nut trees, hardwood trees and the likes leads you to the lodge. The park with ditches and ponds is all yours! Other things to note Keep in mind that during raining periods the roads and footpaths can be inconvenient. We do have some spare rubber boots, though not in all sizes ;) There are two dogs running loose. They keep me company and raise the alarm if there's anything unusual.
