In this beautiful cottage you can enjoy the experience of total off-grid living in luxury and with all conveniences. Fully self contained, you only need to bring your clothes. For longer stays or those that prefer to self-cater, there is a full size fridge, pantry and laundry (washing powder provided). We supply a complimentary breakfast of fresh farm eggs, toast & orange juice and when available fresh produce from our vege garden for your first morning. Guest access Guests have entire cottage to themselves, which is situated about 300m from the main farmhouse. It has its own separate entrance with remote controlled gate to further ensure guest's privacy. Other things to note Enjoy gorgeous mountain and forest views while in the luxurious double shower, and dry off with the organic cotton bath sheets. Enjoy a relaxing soak using the bath salts supplied in the restored clawfoot bath while taking in the views and sipping your favourite beverage. There is ice provided in the freezer. The very comfy queen size bed has rich cotton bed linen and heaps of pillows, choose from medium or firm. Cook up a storm on the full size cooktop and oven or alternatively we can highly recommend the local pub for lunch and dinner, situated only a couple of kilometres away. There is also a picnic basket in the cottage fully kitted out with plates, dishes, cutlery, drinkware and a small rug. Ready to be filled with whatever goodies you have should you prefer to do some self-catered sightseeing. On cooler evenings, stoke up the wood burning fireplace with the firewood provided to relax with a glass of wine or a cuppa. A coffee pod machine and a choice of teas are provided, as is enough full-cream milk for a cuppa on arrival. Any non-dairy or alternative milks will need to be brought by the guests. There is a Smart TV and some books for those that want to stretch out on the couch. There is good WiFi access and mobile phone coverage is good and reliable, although Telstra has the best service. As the cottage is on a septic system, only toilet paper provided is to go down the toilet. All drainage also goes into this system, so please only use the eco-products provided. No chemicals or hair dyes are to go down the drain. All rainwater is captured on-site, so we ask guests be mindful of this precious resource during use.
