Our home is situated in a quiet community with mature shade trees lining the streets. Parking on the street is very safe and there is local shopping and eateries within walking distance. We're convenient to IAD Airport, (15 min drive), Dulles Expo Center, (5min drive), as well as D.C. museums. There are many lovely parks including biking/ hiking trails and some really great restaurants! The space This is a guest room in a 3BR home. It has a queen bed and though it is not a large room it is adequate for sleeping. There is a closet for storage. The shared bathroom is just outside the room. Kitchen is available for eating and/or using the table as a work space. There is a lovely deck and backyard open to guests. We also have a BR listed on Airbnb as "Private master bedroom suite in Fairfax, VA". During your stay Most days I am in and out through the day, but am usually available via phone/text to assist with any questions or concerns! Other things to note Our home is a quiet, clean and well kept home. We request you remove your shoes upon entering and leave them at the entryway. For allergy sensitive people, the sheets and towels are laundered with fragrance/dye/toxin free soap. Please avoid using strongly fragranced products during your stay. *No food allowed in the bedroom, the kitchen is always available for use. Please eat and store all food in the kitchen, (we have really smart ants!) The wood stove is often burning during the cold months! Don't hesitate to contact with any questions/concerns.
