The Historic Farmhouse has been fully updated with all the modern conveniences while retaining the charm that makes it so special. Surrounded a horse farm, barns, and a scenic pond this homes provides a retreat while still being close to Chapel Hill, Durham and the airport - all a short 10-15 minute drive away. Jordan Lake is short drive/bike away, ready to offer water sports, fishing, and more. The downstairs can accommodate up to 4 people, while the upstairs adds 3 beds. Discounts available* The space We have filled the home with an eclectic combination of country pieces, art from all over the world, and some interesting antiques- all with the goal of creating a space where people will feel at home. There is plenty of space to unwind - inside and out. The first floor offers two bedrooms with a full and queen size bed, that can accommodate 4 people comfortably. The upstairs has 2 single beds and an additional queen, with its own separate HVAC unit to ensure comfort in all seasons. The home is priced for the entire space, however if your group is 4 or less or only needs 2 bedrooms, discounts are offered to not include the upstairs. There are two full baths in the home in the downstairs, a large attached deck overlooking the pond, and a screened in front porch perfect for quiet evenings. Additionally, the home comes fully furnished for comfort and has a full-size kitchen with all the amenities you'd expect at home. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the expansive deck - or share breakfast out there. The areas on the deck are the perfect place to end the day. Enjoy a meal from the outdoor grill - and in the winter share special moments by the fire-pit with friends and family. Guest access As our guest you will have access to the entire house, front porch, back deck and surrounding yard area. If you do not need the upstairs, please message us and we will offer a discount. There is a double carport and plenty of outside parking. The surrounding fields are occupied by horses and dogs from the main house but on request, and at your own risk, you can enjoy walking through the acreage or sitting by the pond in a variety of seating areas. Other things to note This is a historic property and we appreciate your consideration of the plumbing and septic system - as well as the need to conserve power. We appreciate Mother Nature and enjoy others that respect this. We ask guests to communicate from their request throughout the booking as you would hope if anyone was in your home. This is a unique property surrounded by nature while still being conveniently located to Chapel Hill/Carrboro, Durham, RDU Airport, and 25 minute drive to Raleigh.
