This second (front, top, corner unit) floor luxurious, open and spacious beach-rustic Santa Monica loft is cool, cozy and well appointed. With 17 foot high ceilings at living area, wood floors throughout, all new furnishings, abstract art mixed with rustic and beach design, and huge windows with endless light, this unique home will truly make your stay memorable. ***IMPORTANT-Please send only an inquiry about your booking dates and DO NOT send a booking/reservation request initially. My calendar is up to date however it's best to confirm. I may require a 2 minimum 2 month booking depending on time of year. To initiate an inquiry just scroll down on listing page to where there is the host information. You will see a button that says "contact host". Clicking that will let you input your dates and ask any questions you may have. ***Minimum month stay (book for 31+ nights and pay no Santa Monica occupancy tax which will be far cheaper than renting for 30 nights) **an additional twin mattress available for set up-please request options upon booking *queen sofa bed in loft On the first level, the property features two bedrooms (one on suite master), two full baths, kitchen, dining area, living area, two patios with seating for two (one off of living area and one off of master), and laundry (washer & dryer). Dream sweet dreams on the queen pillow top mattresses wrapped in high thread-count cotton sheets from and cozy, high quality duvets and pillows. A full closet, dresser and bedside table accompany each of the bedrooms. Bathrooms are equipped with high quality cotton towels, custom mosaic tiling, and luxurious shower fixtures. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to be your own chef. Enjoy your home-cooked meal or take-away from any of the many diverse and prestigious local restaurants seated at the cozy dining room which seats 6-8. The open-concept living room features a super comfortable couch, tucked under stairs and at easy reach are two large bean bags kids and adults can enjoy, a new 55" Samsung flat screen Smart TV (access Netflix, Hulu, etc.), with basic channels. Santa Monica is known for its mild temperatures due to being near the ocean. The unit receives wonderful cross ventilation when windows and sliding doors are open. However we have equipped both bedrooms with portable window air-conditioning units for the occasional heat wave in summer. *However please note we do not have central throughout entire unit.* There is wall furnace that heats entire space for the winter months. An extra twin mattresses are available upon request that can be set up in apartment for an additional fee. The second level features a separate loft overlooking the living space, with a 42" flat screen Smart TV and couch that pulls out into a queen bed. The loft leads to your own expansive private roof-deck where you can lounge while enjoying our amazing weather and SM breezes. Settle in and enjoy your stay in this one-of-a-kind Santa Monica home away from home. * This home is located at the second floor with a single flight of steps. Kitchen includes: dishes, flatware and eating utensils; pots, pans, knife block, cooking utensils, cutting boards, strainer, baking dishes, etc. Appliances: side by side, washer and dryer (detergent included); stainless steel refrigerator with filtered water and ice dispenser, gas range & oven, dishwasher and microwave; toaster oven, coffee maker, hot water kettle. Bedrooms include: comforters and blankets; extra sheets and duvet sets for each bed Bathrooms include: extra towels, shampoo & conditioner, hand soap, bar soap, and toilet paper You'll be close to all the Santa Monica attractions with easy access to the 10 and 405 freeways. The property is 10 blocks from the beach and a straight shot down to the famous Shutters and Casa Del Mar hotels. It’s a 15 minute walk to Santa Monica's Main Street, Promenade, Beach, Pier and Downtown Santa Monica. 1.4 miles to Montana Avenue, 2.5 miles to Venice Boardwalk, 3.9 miles to Marina del Rey, 7 miles to The Getty Museum, 7 miles to Beverly Hills, 12 miles to Hollywood, 16 miles to Universal Studios, and 42 miles to Disneyland. ***Please note that for each booking we require the guests to purchase a non refundable damage protection policy in the amount of $99 that covers any unintentional damage of up to $5,000. This means if there is any damage, you as the guest, do not need to come up with any additional funds above the initial $99 that purchases the policy. After booking I will send a link that you can purchase the policy online and pay by credit card. It’s very easy and gives everyone peace of mind! Included in the home are high speed Wifi throughout and a wireless multi-function printer for copying, and for printing and scanning from most devices. We have an iron, ironing board, and clothes drying rack for laundry needs. Baby items such as a pack n play and high chair can be provided on request. We also have a beach umbrella, beach mat, and beach towels for days out down at the water. PARKING: You'll have a dedicated parking space in the underground secure parking garage. I may be able to accommodate two cars in the garage, however not guaranteed, so please ask if this is desired upon booking. There is a parking pass in unit to park another car on street 24/7 in front of building in case two cars can't be accommodated in garage, however please read street signs to avoid parking tickets on street cleaning days. Parking is very easy on street and there is always plenty or space anytime of day. *PETS: Considered on a case by case basis and for an additional fee. *NO SMOKING in or around the property. Please note: there is a Santa Monica law prohibiting smoking inside a unit or in common areas which includes balconies and patios. If smoke is detected in the apartment a $500 cleaning fee will be charged. *NO parties or loud music allowed as it's a family friendly building.
