Classic Charm in Claremont Village

Come get away and relax in our 1 BR guest cottage in the lovely college town of Claremont; walkable to town & the colleges. Hit the bakery for breakfast, hike the Claremont loop, then dine at of our great village restaurants. The beach & winter skiing are both close by. A library of books, a calming pond and a private patio area outside make it easy to unwind. Our guest cottage features off-street parking, contactless entry, and mini-split (quiet!) climate control. STR Permit: STRP00001 The space Spacious living room, kitchenette and private bedroom with queen bed. Sofa bed in living room. Private parking behind our garage in the alley behind the house. The bathroom has a glass enclosure shower with a rain shower-head. Smart TV with access to all of your favorite streaming services (at your cost). Feel like staying in and grilling one night - We have got you covered! There is a Q-Weber propane grill at the end of the cottage porch that you are welcome to use while you are visiting us. Guest access Full access to the entire cottage. There is also a shade porch with a sofa in front of the living room where you can relax, have your morning coffee, read, enjoy cocktails in the evening, and Zen out to the calming sounds of the pond fountain. We also have a private patio behind the cottage with a large umbrella for shade as needed. Other things to note The kitchen: Please note that the kitchen is well equipped but tiny. It is outfitted with a fridge, a microwave, a toaster oven, an induction cooktop, an electric kettle, a Nespresso coffee and French press coffee maker, but no stove in which to cook full meals. We have coffee, teas, milk, oatmeal and bottles of cold water for you. Weber Propane Grill: We also have a Weber Q grill for your use outside on the porch. Woody! We rescued a Kentucky Coon Hound in January 2023 and he is now very much a part of the family (we think he was about 5 when we got him). You may see him from time to time in the yard. He is very friendly and may want to come an say hello if he sees you. If you are allergic to dogs, please just let us know in advance so that we can be sure to keep him from getting too close!
