This room has wonderful natural light and is located on the second floor in a beautiful new home. Try your hand at the climbing wall just beside the bed! The home is walking distance to downtown Rapid City through the West Boulevard Historic District. The Skyline wilderness offers miles of hiking trails only 3 blocks away. Also, we have a cat named Maryanne who is mostly shy and stays to herself but may also introduce herself to you! The space The room is one of 3 bedrooms upstairs. It sports a climbing wall and windows on 2 sides that let in plenty of natural light. We'll let you be if all you need is a place to rest. But feel free to join the conversation in the common areas. We often cook and enjoy meals together with other travelers. Browse through the collection of maps and brochures of my favorite haunts in the Black Hills. And I'm happy to share my list of favored hole in the wall restaurants. During your stay I love interacting with guests as I have time. We often share meals together. I love to cook and guests often join in the fun. But I'm occasionally traveling and unavailable. Other things to note The Black Hills are a fabulous backdrop for sightseeing and recreation. We are often hiking, trail running, biking, skiing and kayaking in the Hills. As well, there are some great little restaurants and hot spots with live music and theater performances that we've come to appreciate being right down the road.
