Even though located minutes from the convenience of downtown Port Angeles, awaken here to the sounds of song birds outside your window. This 1920's era home is adjacent to a lush ravine and surrounded by a lovely garden to explore. Sit outside on the patio or on the covered porch next to your private entrance. The newly remodeled, compact yet cozy bedroom with one queen bed and private bath are comfortably suitable for one or two people. The space There is a small refrigerator/freezer inside the closet and supplies for making hot tea or Starbucks Coffee and utensils for warming food in the microwave. In the guest bathroom there is a washer and dryer available for use for an additional $10.00 per load, paid at time of use to your host. Guest access Covered porch, patio with small table and chairs, Gardens to roam around in and enjoy. During your stay The host will take guests cue as to how much interaction they desire and are available to answer questions and make recommendations regarding the Port Angeles area or the greater North Olympic Peninsula. Other things to note We have a cat which may be roaming or lounging about in the living room adjacent to the guest room. We keep our house clean and vacuum frequently and our cat is not allowed into the guest area rooms, however, if you are HIGHLY sensitive to animal dander consider that this place may not be your best choice. Please be aware that we endeavor to keep household noise down to a minimum and respect our guests need for quiet and privacy and because of that we don't hang out in the living room adjacent to the guest room when guests are booked in. However, the house is modest in size and we can only retreat so far away from the guest space. You may hear activity in the kitchen from your room despite our best efforts to keep noise down. (Don't worry, the Vitamix is used in the garage!) If you are very sensitive to the sounds from others you may want to choose a cabin or private cottage on another listing. Our reviews will show you that the vast majority of people have found our home restful and quiet. Our house and property is situated along the edge of a ravine which it overlooks but is BEYOND THE END OF THE STREET, behind a big ornamental cherry tree and fence so is VERY HIDDEN from street view. This makes finding our home tricky and requires some extra trust in your navigation system/maps program. You may be prone to thinking that you're in the wrong place...but take heart, you're probably not! Closer visual inspection will reveal the house address posted on the mail box and fence.
