We are located a ½ hour drive to entrance of Kings Canyon Park, then head south into Sequoia Park. Pricing includes 10% hotel tax. This is a spacious home with comfortable furnishings and a deck with a fabulous view over the pond. The "Lake View" home has a huge living room and fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Ideal for a weekend getaway - enjoy the overlook deck with barbeque. Cozy glass-door wood stove for winter (wood provided) • All linens and towels provided, also soap and shampoo. • The kitchen has: four burner gas stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, glassware, flatware, plates, cooking equipment, napkins and paper towels. • Coffee maker with beans, grinder, creamer and sugar; also assorted teas. BED ARRANGEMENTS: Bedroom 1 - queen bed and full bed, with ensuite bathroom with shower and separate soaking tub Bedroom 2 - queen bed and twin bed, with full ensuite bathroom BRING YOUR OWN FOOD - no stores here in the mountains! RATES: *Pets welcome! All lodging costs INCLUDE a 10% county hotel tax. There is also a $50 cleaning fee. The 370-acre foothill property is yours during your stay to explore on roads and paths, great for strolling, hiking, and biking. The pond has 2 person row-boats, fishing, volley ball and deck with a barbeque. Sequoia Resort has a network of paved roads going through the property which are very pleasant and easy to walk on, and stroller-friendly. There is a 1.5 mile hiking trail in the north property, and you can also hike all around the pond. INTERNET- Free wifi access at the Shop (but not at the houses). Also a phone for your use, if you don't get cell reception. There is a free DVD library. The Shop is open 24-hours a day. The Property Manager lives on site. The Shop by the office is open 24 hours to access WiFi, get snacks, drinks and borrow DVDs from our large selection. Free use of cruiser bikes on the property! The town of Badger is a small settlement in the Sierra Nevada foothills at a 3500 foot elevation. Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park is a year-round wonder. See the giant Sequoia trees and experience Kings Canyon - it's like Yosemite without the crowds. Climb Moro Rock, hike into the high country - it's a vacation you'll never forget. Dine at Pinehurst Lodge or Mountain House - both within a 15 minute drive. You'll definitely need a car! When you confirm your reservation I will email you maps and directions to the property and to the national parks, and plenty of information to help you plan for your trip. The office and the house have guide books for local attractions. Get gas and groceries on your way - no stores or stations here in Badger!
