Large Ultra-Modern Apartment w/Deluxe Home Theatre
2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom in the heart of Old Brooklyn, eight minutes’ drive from downtown. Free parking! The apartment includes two bedrooms, one & a half bathrooms, and a large family room/kitchen, where the 4K TV & surround sound are located, along with an electronic fireplace. The bedrooms include ample closet space for storage, plus there’s a coat closet in the hallway & many available cabinets in the kitchen. The apartment is located on the second floor above a bakery. Enter via the front stairs (a wide staircase with 19 steps, in case that matters). Guests have access to the roof deck out back, in case you smoke cigarettes or need a breath of fresh air. Please note, though, the roof is not equipped with any guardrails, so please stay close to the door. For safety, children are not permitted out back. One of us is available to help out with anything you need pretty close to 24/7. Just send us a message on Airbnb, or text us directly. If you’re the reclusive type, that’s okay too—since we use a keypad lock, you can check in & out without ever having to endure human interaction. We’re happy to be as present or as invisible as you like. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns or question; whether you can’t figure out how to get HBO working, or just want local recommendations, we’re glad to help. Some of the businesses within walking distance include the Old Brooklyn Cheese Company; Six Shooter Coffee; Opal on Pearl (cocktail bar); El Rinconcito Chapin (Latin restaurant); Lucy Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar; Gyro Guys; the Old Brooklyn Historical Society; Slices Fabulous Cakes; and Walgreens. (Check GMaps, Trip Advisor or Yelp for many other great places in the area!) Your best bet is to have access to a car—either your own, or via Lyft/Uber. Cleveland does offer public transportation (RTA), but it’s not the most robust system. If you’ll have your own car or a rental: You can park in front on the street; it says “One hour parking,” but that’s never enforced. If you’re going to be parked for an extended period during the day, though, we prefer that you leave your car/cars in our parking lot, directly behind the building. Look for the driveway to the left, next to the church (not the alleyway, which is a bit too narrow to navigate); then park against the brick wall on your right as you enter the lot. If you have any questions, let us know!
