The space We are nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful sunset view. Our studio apartment is just a flight of stairs up and over our unoccupied barn, turned into a garage, adjacent to the main country home, but far enough away for complete privacy. Yosemite - Two hours to the Valley. One hour to the gate. Snow Skiing - Dodge Ridge Ski Resort forty-five min. drive. We provide great storage for bikes, skis and other outdoor gear at the studio entrance! Columbia State Historic Park - Just minutes away There are many other popular Gold Country destinations including shops and Galleries just a few miles from our location! We provide basic condiments in the kitchen for easy dining in. Our infrared heater has a faux fireplace for ambiance. Kinda nice for a romantic evening. Guest access Our driveway leads you through a black iron gate to the house and barn. Plenty of parking - including boats and RVs. *No access to the main House or Garages. Keypad entry for your private convenience. Entry code provided at checkin time. Other things to note If you have a hankering for hiking, caving or gold panning, my hubby grew up here and would be happy to share some great places to visit! He is a great resource of wonderful ideas for destinations all over the county. Columbia State Historic Park is within walking distance, HOWEVER down a hill, which means you'll have to hike back up. Not for the faint of heart! Hubby’s elderly Uncle lives on the property as well. You may meet Terry as he walks the grounds.
