It has has 2 private bedrooms, a third separate sleeping area, 2 kitchenettes and 2 bathrooms with tiled showers. Both bedrooms in this quiet house have queen beds - and the entirely separate central room has a daybed/sofa. One of the two bedrooms also has a daybed. (All of the beds ready for a good night's sleep and your hosts provide extra blankets.) There is plenty of seating with a combination of sofas, couches and large overstuffed chairs in all of the rooms. The central room has a kitchenette & small dining table; one of the private bedrooms also features its own small kitchenette. The cupboards are stocked with great coffee and a large selection of top quality teas, plus makings for hot cocoa and hot cereals, and a couple of individually sized cold cereals. A few fun snack treats are also provided, along with juices, small bottled waters, a small carton of fresh milk for your first morning and more! Each kitchenette has a stove top for light cooking; both also have a mini-refrigerator, a toaster and a microwave oven, along with a pour-over coffee making system. Both also have a French Press if you prefer to make your coffee that way. Both of the private, ensuite bathrooms feature a tiled shower with loads of extra towels, along with a few travel necessities such as toothpaste, dental floss & safety razors. There is excellent Wi-Fi but no TV, so plan to relax, read or take your coffee out to sit on one of the decks to enjoy the breathtaking views; they include views of rocky outcroppings, sea stacks and sandy beaches all along the coast. If it gets a bit cool just pull out one of the warm-n-cozy freshly washed blankets your hosts provide in a bin that is right there on your deck. In the evening take a glass of wine, or a bottle to share, and watch from one of the decks as the sun sets below the horizon of the truly majestic Pacific Ocean. When you get up in the morning put on one of the freshly laundered robes with slippers provided by your hosts and relax into your day. Guests have full access to everything in their suite, as well as the courtyard, the gardens, two side decks and the top two landings on the beach stairs. And guest privacy is absolutely respected at all times. Harris Beach State Park can be seen from the outside decks. It is just a short walk from the property (or a one minute drive) and the sandy beaches, tide pools and rugged coastline there make it delightful to explore. The magnificent driftwood covered beach at the harbor is just five minutes away, and its only a short drive to scenic rivers & giant redwoods. The beach stairs are currently available only down to the first two landings, both of which have a seating area with views that stretch to the far horizons of the Pacific Ocean. Your hosts will update this listing when those stairs are again fully available. Also: * The main house bedrooms open onto the back deck so for privacy reasons please don't use it. * If your car leaks oil or other fluids please park in the gravel area just outside the property wall. * We love them, but pets and service animals are not allowed due to allergies. * We require a disclaimer / liability release be signed due to being located on a cliff above the ocean - thanks for understanding. * The views are from the outside decks, not the guesthouse. Your privacy and comfort are just as important to us as they are to you. We are right next door and we will be there if you need us, but otherwise you will not see much of us. This is a very quiet neighborhood in a small town. It is just a short walk to a general store, restaurants and other shopping! ----------------------- ABOUT YOUR HOSTS – by Barbara Patrick & I were (and still are!) grateful & amazed at the good fortune that came our way when we acquired two 'diamond in the rough' coastal properties on the Southern Oregon coast that are right next to each other. Both sit on their own cliffside acre overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean. We did not plan on being BnB hosts - it just sort of happened - but we are glad it did because we are always delighted to share these amazing properties with our guests. I was recently retired from a job in the medical field and Patrick had sold his real estate office when, in March of 2019, we found the coastal property we now live in while we on a road trip through Southern Oregon. The house that is now our home had been on the market 5 years as part of an estate sale & it needed a lot of work, but we loved it the moment we saw it. **We made the best offer we could afford and our offer was accepted! The separate guesthouse that came with it became our first BnB. Then in 2022 our elderly & very kind next-door neighbor, a widower, decided to move to Portland to be with family. His circa 1950 house also needed a lot of work. We were experienced hosts at that point and we knew the location and layout were absolutely perfect for another BnB. **So Patrick worked out a deal with the seller that included some seller-financing and we bought it. Then we put in granite counter tops, tiled showers, redwood decks, heated floors, bigger windows and much more. Our objective was to create a magical space where people can come to relax in quiet comfort with lots of privacy & stunning ocean views.
