Blue Tranquility is the first floor apartment in a two unit apartment building. It is a cozy one bedroom unit with a large covered porch located on the grounds of the famous Egyptian house. The unit is comfortable for 2 people but will accommodate 4 with the living room couch converting to a bed. The property is conveniently located with plenty of off street parking. Washer and dryer in the unit, full kitchen, appliances. A television with wifi connectivity and streaming service applications is provided in the living area. This TV is not connected via cable service with multi-channel programming for news, sports or TV network programs. Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and other applications may be used to view your favorite programming and movies. You may need to access your own sports or news streaming service in Smart Hub in order to watch ball games or your preferred news channels. The apartment's front porch, yard and off-street parking are available for your use. Parking and yard may be shared by other guests at the house and upstairs apartment. You will have the place to yourself but I am available by phone and may check in periodically. Our neighborhood is a mixture of residential and business. The apartment building is surrounded on 2 sides by a farm and sits back from the road. There is plenty of off street parking and public transportation runs on our street. A car, however is preferable to best enjoy the area. We are close to major roads and the interstate, historic sites, Christiana Mall, University of Delaware, Wilmington and Philadelphia airports. Historic Old New Castle, located nearby, has quaint shops and restaurants a park and walking paths on the water and to the Wilmington Riverfront. The Egyptian House Estates includes this apartment, a second floor apartment listed as Green Sanctuary and the Egyptian House next door. The house is available room by room (listed as King's Chamber, Queen's Chamber and Castle Loft). Park by pointing your vehicle toward the road. We allow smoking outside only - legal tobacco products or vaping. Recreational cannabis use is illegal in Delaware. We don't allow cannabis on the property. We don't allow medical-use cannabis here either, since we don't have the privacy required by law - we are a public space.
