The Villa at Bali Garden Matakana

Located just 50 minutes north of Auckland and just five minutes from Matakana Village, our boutique accommodation is nestled within in a private, tranquil and beautifully curated garden surrounded by palm trees. Enjoy a relaxing weekend away where you wont be disturbed. Close enough to Omaha beach to walk, Point Wells local store and just a short drive to Matakana Village. The space The Stables accommodation at Bali Garden is situated in the stunning Matakana region. The building itself is a reconstructed stable, having been relocated from the family farm in Wanganui. The footprint and layout has remained in the stable style and allows for an attractive one master bedroom, (super king bed) fully self contained dwelling on a luxurious scale. A full kitchen, laundry and TV area all leading from a central breezeway dining area has utilised the original stable wood of Rimu, Totara and Kauri in the decor. Luxurious linens and towels are provided within the bedroom and two bathrooms of the property. Beautiful bathroom and kitchen complementaries add to the experience. Outdoor flow to a private garden and seating terrace allows for peace and privacy at all times. Relaxation massage, private yoga, champagne and grazing platter - available on request. Guest access We allow our guests to enjoy the back patio and private garden. There is also a fully operational horticulture business on site, we ask that guests stay clear of this area and also the driveway towards the water as that is a private residence. There are signs clearly marking these areas where no access allowed. Other things to note Strictly adults only, no pets allowed and no smoking. Matakana is less than an hour north of Auckland sitting on the doorstep to world class beaches, it shares its wonderful vibe and cafe culture with those who make the journey. Renown galleries, farmers market, vineyards, unique cinema experiences and varied restaurants all offer the visitor a holiday they will want to keep repeating. Morris & James Pottery, Sculptureum, Brick Bay Sculpture Trail, Tawharanui Regional Park (a mainland island sanctuary), Goat Island (a marine reserve) - and much more is not going to leave you much time free. But you may just wish to laze on one of the many white sand beaches, for a totally relaxed break. The cutlery drawers are located inside the top two drawers in the kitchen on the right and left.
