Our private and charming craftsman log home sleeps 6 and has a cozy cabin feel, yet it has all the amenities to guarantee a comfortable stay. The comfortable furnishings blend seamlessly with the log-home vibe, and there is plenty of room to lounge and relax or play games and catch up with friends. There is roomy outdoor space, & it is in a prime location to explore the area. The space Immerse yourself in the mountain lifestyle, or walk into town to enjoy restaurants and shopping. Peaceful and secluded, it is nestled at the edge of the forest amid mature walnut and oak trees. Downtown Leavenworth is a short walk (20 minutes—.9 miles) but also only a 3-minute drive. Downtown Leavenworth, restaurants, entertainment, and grocery shopping are all within 1 mile. The living room has a beautiful German wood-burning stove, providing warmth and ambiance on those cold, snowy evenings, and huge windows with views of Icicle and Tumwater Ridge. The dining area seats 8, and the kitchen is fully stocked, providing for all your cooking needs. There is ample outdoor space, including a covered porch with plenty of casual seating, an outdoor dining space, and an uncovered hot tub. Two private bedrooms and a spacious loft provide sleeping quarters for 6 people. (Note: the loft area is open to the floor below.) There are two bathrooms, both on the main floor. One bathroom, attached to a bedroom, has a tub. The second bathroom is off the hallway and has a shower. Relax in the fresh mountain air while enjoying the gorgeous natural surroundings and views. This home's beautiful location offers natural peace and tranquility, and you'll spend your nights in comfortable linens and down comforters, sure to provide a peaceful night's sleep. Admire the views from the covered deck, soak and stargaze in the hot tub, or hang out and enjoy your comfortable home away from home while visiting Leavenworth. The home was entirely handmade by the original owner and his wife, from the hand-hewn and chinked logs to every piece of hardwood trim, cabinets, and even the doors — a truly authentic and unique experience. Relax. Unwind. This peaceful retreat makes for a perfect getaway. STR#354 Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property. Spacious parking area and double carport provide room for 4+ vehicles. There are no stairs to the entrance off the main deck. Other things to note The cabin is within walking distance (.9 miles) to the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth and all it has to offer: restaurants, shopping, and activities. The town is a 15-20 minute walk or a 3-minute drive. NOTE: For us, 1 mile is walking distance. For others, it may not be. Please judge for yourself! There are many activities and amenities right out your door or a short drive away. Enjoy hiking (there are two wonderful 3.5-mile loop hikes just minutes up the road), mountain biking, skiing, zip-lining, snowshoeing, boating (kayaks, canoes, SUPs available to rent in town), river rafting, fishing (license required), birding, or playing golf (or miniature golf!) in town. .9 mi to Downtown Leavenworth 36 mi to Stevens Pass 34 mi to Mission Ridge 20 mi to Lake Wenatchee State Park - This property does not offer air conditioning. The property is equipped with exterior security cameras. The cameras are motion-activated and face the driveway and outdoor patio. No cameras face the interior of the home.
