The space Tucked away from the busy street traffic, this 510 sq ft, one bedroom, one bath cottage built in the 1920's offers you a retreat of your own without any interruptions of the outside world. This newly renovated cottage includes a luxury queen bed, hotel quality sheets and towels, blue tooth radio alarm clock, 40 inch full range extension LED SMART TV, sound machine, lighted/magnified make-up mirror, hair dryer, flat hair iron, full size mirror, paper products and many convenience items. Stackable washer/dryer combo (tide pods) with iron and small ironing board. Fully equipped kitchen stocked with all utensils, dishwasher, (wash pods) disposal, full size fridge w/ice maker (complimentary water and drinks stocked), gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster, blender, Keurig coffee maker. Kitchen includes complimentary coffees, hot chocolate, teas, chocolates, snacks and breakfast items. The sitting area is a great space to relax after a day of exploring historic downtown complete with a 55 inch full range extension LED SMART TV. The living area includes a deep sofa (also a single 14 inch deluxe inflatable air mattress can be provided upon request, if extra sleep space is needed). Complementary WIFI is included throughout the property. Enjoy one of two courtyards, one common area, complete with ample seating, gas fire pit and festive Edison string lighting or the private backyard area with breakfast table and additional seating. Also on site for your convenience when exploring our city, parks or beaches, rain umbrellas, disposable rain ponchos, picnic blanket, large cooler bag, beach towels, beach bag and beach chairs. Feel free to visit and like The Charleston Carriage House and/or Rutledge Retreat A and Rutledge Retreat B on Face Book. One complimentary onsite parking space is provided with rental. Two of the three spaces onsite are tandem parking which may require some planning, consideration and cooperation. This has never been an issue and I will assist you with any arrangements needed. Additional daily street parking passes can be provided for a fee of $20 a day. This property is a legal rental licensed by the City of Charleston. Guest access You will have full access to the Charleston Carriage House as well as both courtyard areas. The rear courtyard area is exclusively private to the Carriage House. The front courtyard is shared by other AIRBNB guests staying at Rutledge Retreat (main house). Other things to note Check In 3 pm / Check Out 11 am ~ Flexible (whenever possible but we have a lot of back to back bookings and unless discussed a STRICT time frame is in place. Depending on bookings, we may or may not be able to accommodate special check in/out requests, but we never mind you asking. We are flexible whenever possible but we have a lot of back to back bookings. Unless discussed prior, a STRICT time frame is in place, or we may be able to arrange with a fee associated if cleaning help is needed to accommodate your timeframe.
