Sage Room: A Thoughtful Space

One of two fully furnished Airbnb rooms in a single, detached home on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. Located in the city dubbed as the Gateway to Silicon Valley. Access to other areas of the house allowed. Owned by highly educated empty-nesters with a cute dog. The space Relax and recharge in this serene private room, thoughtfully designed for comfort and quiet. Dressed in soothing muted green tones, the room features a cozy double bed with crisp white cotton sheets, a quilted mattress pad, bed skirt, and a plush comforter or duvet set. Extra blankets are neatly tucked away in the closet—perfect for chilly winter nights. A charming Chinese writing desk with hidden drawers and cubbyholes adds character and function, complete with a swing-arm lamp, swivel chair, digital alarm clock, and waste bin. A full-length mirror on the wall adds both convenience and space. For your entertainment, a 32-inch flat-screen TV with basic cable is mounted for easy viewing. The closet has sliding doors and hangers provided, and a quiet electric fan offers both side-to-side and vertical swivel to keep the air circulating just right. Natural light pours through the wide window, softened by stylish zebra blinds. At night, recessed ceiling lights, a bedside lamp, and a desk lamp keep the space bright and welcoming. The shared bathroom is just a few steps away, easily accessible and close by. Guest access Within reasonable bounds, our guest/s can access the kitchen, dining room with a table for 6, living room with an electronically reclining couch, 65-in wall HD TV with cable channels including HBO , acoustic piano, desk top computer with 24-in monitor, and home office with a desk top computer and an Epson printer. The full bath in the hallway is exclusively for guest/s' use. We also allow the use of our backyard lawn and patio which is within reach of WiFi. Street parking is ample. We also offer parking on our driveway and carport when not in use. During your stay We respect our guest/s' privacy and leave them mostly on their own. But, we can also engage in conversation. We are highly-educated empty-nesters who can carry on good conversation. Other things to note California has occasional water shortage problem. We request our guests to conserve water. Garbage should be out on the street by Tuesday afternoon so we ask our guests to take their garbage out of their room and into the bigger bins in the garage for pick up on Wednesday. Street sweeping in our area is also done on Wednesdays. Cars should not be parked on the streets on that day.
