Kitchenette has: toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, 2-burner cooktop and a dorm-size 'fridge. Plenty of blankets and a radiator heater for chilly nights! Note: the cabin is newly renovated as of 2021! Guests are welcome to use our personal kayak with prior arrangement. (life vest use is required). We welcome a small to medium size dog as a pet-guest as well. We live on the property and are available to assist with any guest needs or questions. We are very knowledgeable about the entire region! Your cabin has a view of the west side of the historic Eagle Harbor lighthouse. You are steps away from the sandy beach or the rocky shore, including a wonderful observation deck for watching northern lights or those passing freighters! If you don't want to cook, two family-run restaurants are just blocks away. Copper Harbor is a lovely 14 mile drive up the coast; Brockway Mountain Drive is accessed 4 miles from Eagle Harbor. Several forest hiking trails are within walking distance. Walk, bike, kayak! Please note that groceries and gas should be purchased no later than Calumet. There is not a grocery or a gas station in Eagle Harbor. It's nice to be a bit off the grid!!
