The cities of Noto, Modica, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla are the best architectural examples left nowadays from the flowering Baroque Age in Europe, with their churches and the precious buildings. The Church of San Giovanni Battista and Palazzo Bertini can be visited in Ragusa Ibla, while in the unique city of Modica there are the Cathedral of San Giorgio, placed on the Iblean upland and the Church of San Pietro, in the valley. Last but not least, the small and medieval Palazzolo and the baroque capital city of Noto are worth a visit, thanks to their vivid streets and noble buildings, such as Palazzo Ducezio.
