Cool artist house walking distance from Joshua village. Recently remodeled, new beds, new paint, art work every where. Nice private backyard with a south view on the Joshua park mountains, big pine trees in the open front yard, nice shade for hot months. Minutes from the road leading to the Joshua Park entrance and 1 min away from Joshua back country wash. The space The house is located in a residential area, yet at the edge of town, please be considerate with the neighbors, be aware that they might hear you as you might hear them at times. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas, a private back yard with ceramic sculptures and an open front yard with pine trees. Depending on the time of the year you may choose either side of the house to hang out, south side is great in winter, north side is cooler when it gets hot.The house has heating and a fire place. For summer the Evaporative Cooler circulates the cool air in the 2 bedrooms and dinning area. This is a very effective cooling device. It is simple, efficient, and more comfortable than AC when the air is dry. There are quite a few art pieces on the walls as well as small bone like ceramic sculptures inside and outside the house, please do not remove or disturb any display. Guest access The whole house with open front yard and private backyard, the garage will not be accessible to guests. Other things to note To be on the safe side with Covid19, I am not renting my place back to back, there is a minimum of 24h between bookings to allow for extra cleaning and a safer amount of time between guests.
