Classic a-frame cabin in Bear Valley - great alternative to Tahoe crowds! Downhill and cross-country ski in the winter. Swim, fish and hike in the summer. In the winter, we will arrange a short but fun snowmobile ride to transport in & out. This is a classic A frame cabin in the High Sierras of California Bear Valley can be thought of as Tahoe without the crowds - close access to pristine wilderness settings In the winter, the roads are not plowed from the village into the residential section of Bear Valley where our cabin is located. It is approximately 4 blocks. We provide one snowmobile ride in and one out. These need to be reserved by YOU prior to your arrival. We have an account at Alpine Snowmobile. They can provide the taxi rides from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Only interaction is process of checking in and checking out
