Mountain View Oxbow Lake House

Cozy house across from Oxbow Lake. If you're looking for a private get away for your family and friends in the heart of the Adirondacks with the privacy and space to entertain and the option of local stores and restaurants nearby along with hiking, fishing, canoeing, site seeing and great views then you found it! The space This is a two story house/cottage that is in Lake Pleasant New York in the heart of the Adirondacks. The House has a downstairs area with a livingroom, a bedroom with one double bed and a dresser, a half bath and a full kitchen and dining table that seats up to 6 people. The upstairs is a large loft area with three double beds one with a trundle and a TV area with two beanbag chairs and a bathroom with shower. Guest access The house is located across the street (Route 8 which is a busy street) from Oxbow Lake. To access the lake you will need to walk down a hill (see photos). The lake front has a dock and shed area with canoes, row boat, kayaks along with life jackets. There is swimming in areas of the lake but not directly off the dock area associated with our lake access. Additional amenities include fishing poles, fire pit, picnic areas and large yard. There is WIFI and TV but the WIFI has satellite connection and is weak in this area and may be touch and go. There is WIFI in town that does work well (a seven minute drive). Also a full kitchen with dishes and cookware. Outside charcoal grill. There is no housekeeping onsite but toiletries are included. Other things to note You must be at least 21 years old to rent the property. There is no smoking and no pets allowed.
