Just a stone’s throw away is the award-winning St Kew Inn, one of Cornwall’s best gastro pubs, serving delicious food, local ales, and wonderful beer garden. We’re perfectly placed for exploring some of Cornwall’s most loved beaches, coastal villages and attractions — all just a short drive away. Beaches: (10-30 minutes drive away) Polzeath Beach, Trebarwith Strand, Daymer Bay, Rock Beach, Port Isaac, Padstow, Constantine, Harlyn, Porthcothan… just to name a few. Harbours & Villages: (10-20 minutes away) Port Isaac Harbour, the famous fishing town of Padstow, Boscastle, Rock — with the scenic Rock Ferry crossing to Padstow. Gardens, Walks & Nature (10-45 minutes away) The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Pencarrow House & Gardens, Lanhydrock House & Gardens (National Trust), Cardinham Woods, Golitha Falls and St Nectan’s Glen waterfall. History & other Attractions: (10-20 minutes away) Tintagel Castle, Bodmin Jail and the Camel Trail cycle path. With coastal walks, beautiful gardens, beaches, surfing spots, and charming cafés and resturants nearby, there’s something new to discover every day. Your stay includes a DIY continental breakfast hamper with homemade bread, jams, cereals, yogurt, tea, and freshly grounded coffee—ideal for slow, relaxed mornings. The Loft is a cosy, stylish retreat, thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a short stay: a fridge with freezer, filter coffee, compact dishwasher, and a breakfast nook for cold meals or picnic prep (please note, no cooking facilities). For relaxed evenings in, there’s also a Smart TV with Netflix and Prime. Step into our secluded garden — a peaceful haven tucked away from the world. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee or unwinding after a day of adventures. Listen to birdsong, watch squirrels dart through the trees, and, if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of an otter by the stream. As evening settles in, the soft calls of tawny and barn owls create a truly magical atmosphere. Quiet seating areas invite you to pause, breathe, and soak up the serenity. We can’t wait to welcome you to this magical slice of Cornwall. Guest access Guests have a private entrance and are welcome to enjoy the shared garden. There’s a table and chairs at the far end for your sole use. While the garden is shared with one other two-person rental, it’s often to yourselves, and it’s a generous size so you’ll easily find your own peaceful, private corner at any time :) Other things to note The Loft is not suitable for people with mobility issues, due to stairs for the entrance, please see photo. There is no public transport in the village.
