Private suite in James Colt townhouse

We're long time AirBnB hosts (and guests). Our historic condo is bright and spacious with wood floors and lots of light. The room is clean and comfortable with a private bath and many amenities. Conveniently located to everything in downtown Hartford. We love our city and are happy to help you find your way. The space The room includes a full (double) size bed, a full en suite bathroom, a closet and dresser. A mini fridge, coffeemaker and microwave are provided in the room for your use. Other amenities include a luggage rack, chair, small folding desk, hairdryer, fan and a white noise machine. A full breakfast is not included but we do provide small items such as oatmeal, yogurt and coffee. There is a mom and pop breakfast and lunch place around the corner as well as a deli/corner store for any necessities. We have two cats and one dog. All are friendly, and they generally do not go in the guest room. Guest access You are welcome to share the front patio and backyard, and will pass through the main part of our house to access your room. You are also welcome to our W/D, etc.. Our apartment is on the first and garden floors of an updated 1865 townhouse. The main living area is on the first floor and the bedrooms are downstairs in the garden level. During your stay As much or as little as you like! We are longtime users of Airbnb and love to travel. We are also longtime residents of Hartford and love our city. We are happy to help you find your way but are also happy to leave you alone if you prefer. Don't hesitate to bother us with any questions or requests. Other things to note We use eco friendly cleaners and detergents. The bedroom is down 1 flight of stairs from the main floor. As it is a very old building, we sadly are not wheelchair accessible. Note we do have pets in the home
