Tonquin's Rest Guest Suite in Astoria, Oregon

Tonquin's Rest is a beautiful private suite in the upstairs of a 1903 Victorian home in Astoria's tranquil Uppertown neighborhood. The home is located in walking distance to the Goonies House, Pier 39, the Astoria Riverwalk and hiking trails. It is a 35 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Astoria and a quick 25 minute drive to the beach. Watch the deer wander through the backyard as you drink your morning coffee on your private balcony. The space This is a private guest suite in the top floor of our home. There are several sets of stairs to reach the suite. There are two very comfortable memory foam beds, one King sized and one Queen sized, and an additional sofa that folds down in to a twin size sleeper in the living room. There are plenty of extra pillows and blankets for your comfort. There is a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower. We have provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bubble bath for the jacuzzi. The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge/freezer, a microwave, a toaster, Keurig coffee maker, a French press, a hot water kettle, a blender and a washer and dryer. Please note there is no sink or range in the kitchenette. There is a TV, DVD player with DVDs and Roku in the living room. There is also a record player and a selection of records for you to listen to. There is a private balcony overlooking the backyard gardens. Please note we have a video security doorbell located at the front entrance of the home. There is also a camera on the back entrance of the home. They are motion detecting and have the ability to record. There are no interior cameras in the home. Your nightly rate includes the 11% Lodging taxes for The City of Astoria (HSL license #19-04), the 1% Clatsop County tax and the 1.5% State of Oregon tax. Guest access Guests have full access via keyless entry to the entire suite and private balcony. Guests are welcome to access the back garden. Please note that there is an additional room upstairs used as private storage space and is clearly marked private. There is no on street parking so we ask that you use the space in the driveway. No more than two vehicles. We ask that you not bring trailers or an RV as space is limited.
