Description

AIGUA apartment is located on the 2nd floor of Cal Alemany. This apartment has one double and one larger living room with sofa beds for 2-3 people. The apartment has a great terrace overlooking the sacred mountain, Montsant and a large kitchen with lots of light and direct access to the terrace. A modern bright bathroom is of course also available. The apartment is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, climbers, cyclists, wine lovers and long-term guests. Equipped with FIBER OPTIC The space Cal Alemany is located in the village of Torroja in the heart of the famous Priorat wine region. Absolute tranquility, no tourism, hiking, climbing, cycling, admiring scenery, enjoying wine and restaurants. 90 minutes from Barcelona and 30 minutes from Tarragona. Central heating, Internet access, no parking problem, beautiful villages with summer swimming pool, friendly villagers and always silence, no traffic, only fantastic scenery. Parc Natural del Montsant only 9 Km away. Everything is possible in the Priorat! You can rest and enjoy the village life or you can head to any attractions from there. Some guests even take the AVE (express train similar to the intercity) in Tarragona and visit Madrid, Zaragoza or Valencia for a day! However, you can also forget the car and the outside world and take the most beautiful hikes from Torroja, everything on foot and in the middle of a unique cultural landscape with mountain slopes full of vines, olive trees, almond groves or just forest and fantastic stone information on the Montsant (see our homepage (URL HIDDEN) In Torroja you need a car, without it it is not possible, because there is a bus to Falset, but only once a day. All side villages can even be reached on foot (hiking trail or road), but a car is essential. The streets around the village are winding! Have fun for bike or motorcyclists! Don't forget climbing in Siurana and Montsant. Guest access The apartments are completely independent and fully furnished. The entrance is on the back of the house. Only go through the gate with the cat knocker, then go through the garden and then climb stairs to the apartment. The key will be stuck. We or the caretaker on site are always available if you have any questions. Cal Alemany also has a garden right in front of the house. It allows our guests to rest under trees and get in touch with the inhabitants of the village. Chilling with a good neighborhood wine is trending Other things to note Torroja del Priorat is at the heart of this top class wine region. The village itself is unique and offers many opportunities to walk and get to know the villagers. All are very helpful, even with our long-term guests. The hiking trails around the village are all special and even allow other villages to visit on foot. Eventual there food and back in the afternoon. The river Siurana is a 10-minute walk, wild and unobstructed, there is always something to discover! The other 7 villages of the Priorat are also unique, but not as nice as Torroja.
