The Rock House up in the trees!

Retreat & social distance in the tree tops in our 8x10 ft “Rock House”. Song Birds will sing to you. Private outdoor bath tub near grilling/fire pit. A screened pavilion with picnic table and outdoor kitchen was added in 2021. Finnish steam sauna w shower was completed in fall 2019. Nice outhouse! Self Check in May - Oct. 160 private acres with 4 miles of trails on our 3/4 mi stretch of the wild and scenic St Regis River in the Adirondack Park. Pets are ok. We Welcome Diversity. The space This space is a pine paneled one room 10x12 ft insulated tree house with screened windows. There is a comfortable futon couch you can pull out that sleeps two adults. There’s a dresser with a pull out desk top and some new cubbies to stow your gear in. The dwelling is a short walk from the farm house driveway through our back yards flower and vegetable gardens and blueberry patch. (Please feel free to snitch some juicy ripe blueberries if in season!) The back side area of the rock house is comprised of 80 acres of forest which is home to lots of song birds for your morning wake up. The front of the rock house is above a natural swimming pool bordered by boulders and located in the woods 200 feet from the main farm house.. There is a propane vented heater if needed for your comfort. A screened in kitchen pavilion is a great place to cook, eat or do remote work. There is also a futon couch in the screened kitchen /dining pavilion which gives you another option for sleeping. Guest access Guests have access to the tree house, Finnish sauna, outhouse, fire pit, screened pavilion with outdoor kitchen and picnic table, private outdoor bath, hot and cold running water, microwave, fridge, gas range, and 160 acres with marked trails. The internet in the tree house is via Star Link. Other things to note We have an awesome swim hole and lots of trails. The outdoor tub has hot and cold water with a 7 foot privacy fence on two sides backed against the Sauna building with an optional privacy curtain that opens to the fire pit, woods and sky. We practice cleaning protocols recommended by the CDC.
