The space This Colonial B&B was built in 1905 and has stood the test of time! Mr. Brashear built this for his wife, but after her untimely, early death it has since been used as a boarding home for mothers and daughters wanting to go to school in KIRKSVILLE. Then it was turned into 4 apartments for over 60 years, then a Dr. office for less than 10 year, & then a B&B in 1999! We love the history this home and the privilege to tell its story, for future generations! Guest access We have a beautiful wrap around porch and yard. Park & hike & bike trail are within walking distance from the property. With prior permission we also have laundry service. During your stay I’m available by on site, phone, e-mail, & face book, most of the time. Other things to note Breakfast is available at an extra charge. We have reduced our overall rate, after Covid because so many didn’t want breakfast. We love to walk and bike! We support Kirksville Public Schools, Faith Lutheran School, Truman State, MACC, and ATSU that are linked to our website for easy travel, amenities, & fun things to do.
