Villa Eclissi

It is a very large house on two floors, with a very large living room surrounded by nature, fireplace to relax, have great meals and visit the magnificent Tuscia. There are many things to visit: Bagnaia, Villa Lante, Caprarola, Viterbo, Faggeta del Monte Cimino, the footsteps of the Templars... It was our home away from home, where we relaxed coming from Rome, and spent beautiful days in the countryside picking olives, eating in company and visiting the well-known areas around. The space The house is spread across three floors. As soon as you enter, you will be amazed by the size of the living area, which extends across the entire first floor, and by the light that filters through the living room windows. There is a beautiful fireplace at the entrance that you can light to enjoy the intimacy that the fire provides, while the living room opens up with large windows overlooking the surrounding valley. The house is surrounded by lots of greenery, and you can enjoy all the peace you want. On the second floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans, a moka pot for coffee, plates, water and wine glasses, and a toaster. There is a large fridge with a freezer on the ground floor, which is useful for long stays. Also on the second floor, you will find a cozy double bedroom with an attached bathroom. On the second floor, which is accessed via a wide brick staircase, there are the other three bedrooms: a spacious double bedroom and two double bedrooms with single beds. On this same floor, there are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. The fourth bathroom is on the ground floor. Guest access The entire house is for the exclusive use of our guests. Within walking distance is the beautiful Villa Lante, one of the greatest achievements of the Italian sixteenth century with a spectacular system of fountains and water games as well as a beautiful wooded park. Other things to note Accommodation tax 2.30 euros per person per night from January 1, 2025. From 2025 You only pay for the first 3 nights, from the 4th you do not pay the tourist tax and children pay from the age of 16. (to be paid only in cash upon arrival) The farmhouse is not served by the municipal aqueduct. The water comes from a well dug in our land, so we use it only for hygienic purposes, (we also brush our teeth with it) while for food use we prefer to use the drinking water coming from the fountain at the beginning of Strada Chiesuola, which we supply to our guests in special containers.
