Attached outdoor deck on cottage,with outdoor hot tub available next door at main property. Gas grill and small fire pit located outside cottage. This cottage is adjacent to the owner's main home, but totally privacy is guaranteed for guests. The owners can be available if guests have any questions or special requests. One mile into town (walking distance) you will find restaurants to choose from for dining or drinks on their deck, convenience stores, specialty shops, bakery, liquor store, cheese shop, pickle shop, bike shop, The Rosendale Collective Theater, many bicycling and hiking trails including the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and trestle over the Rondout Creek. Most guests have stated that they are glad they drove to the cottage so they had a the flexibility of driving around the area to visit parks, historical places, etc. There is a Trailways bus line which runs from NYC to Rosendale, and drop off is one mile from property. Rural transportation buses also run to towns nearby. Taxis can be called from New Paltz or Kingston. Uber services the area, but may take longer than in urban areas since we are in the countryside.
