Musher's Village-Yurt & Cabin, Pet Friendly/Remote

No additional Fees! This unique property rental includes use of the entire "Musher's Village"--11 acres with a 16' Pacific Yurt, a Tiny House/Cabin, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, hand pump for water and well-stocked outhouses. Pets are welcome on property and in the buildings. Please read the entire description below as this is a unique, remote and RUSTIC property. There is NO electricity. This is a great property for families and small groups with endless hiking, biking and stargazing. The space All the fun of camping without the hassle! The cabin and yurt combined sleep 8-10 people. Property is truly OFF GRID (NO running water, electricity, plumbing or internet. There is NOT a place to charge phones, etc). There is plenty of peace and quiet. Property is near our large, professional sled dog kennel so you may hear barking dogs. Property is easily accessible, located on a well-maintained dirt road. There are two outhouses, hand-pump for clean drinking water, an outdoor cook stove (propane provided), outdoor pizza oven, fire pit, Gaga ball pit and comfortable beds. There is a covered outdoor kitchen which is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, silverware, plates, etc. There are wash basins for you to do your dishes (soap provided). The beds are all twin size with the exception of one double bed in the cabin loft. Sheets and pillows, and a few blankets are provided. There is no indoor plumbing...this means no shower or flush toilet. There are two clean and stocked outhouses on site. This is a kid-friendly property with great woods to explore and sand to dig in! There are great trails for hiking and mountain biking right from the property. There are also many lakes nearby for fishing, kayaking and canoeing. We are very close to the Silver Creek Birding trail for excellent bird watching. It's also a great place to enjoy night sky viewing with no light pollution. There is ample space for parking a trailer if you bring an ATV or boat. Guest access Guests rent the entire facility (11 acres) consisting of tiny cabin, yurt and cookshack. The cookshack has a covered area for cooking and storing food. There is NO refrigeration but there is an ice chest and cooler provided. Bring your own ice. If you want to use the old fashioned ice chest, bring a BLOCK of ice rather than cubed ice. There is a fire pit provided but BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. There is drinking water available from the hand pump well (it's easy to use and good for drinking). There is also plenty of space for tents or a small RV if you have a large group. There is space for trailer parking. Well behaved pets (including horses) are welcome and there is plenty of space for the dogs to run around and stretch their legs! You can hike, bike, ride ATV's, dirt bikes or horses right from the property. Other things to note There is a large sled dog kennel nearby so expect to occasionally hear barking dogs. This property is used as a mushing camp in the winter and is rented to those looking for a unique camping experience in the summer.
