Come and experience our luxury shepherd hut The space Our Suffolk Shepherd Hut is a romantic, cosy retreat—perfect for spontaneous escapes and relaxing countryside breaks just outside York. Overlooking open fields, you’ll be surrounded by our friendly animals, including Hebridean sheep, alpacas, Shetland ponies, our horses, and chickens—adding to the peaceful, rural charm and making your stay feel truly unique. Inside, the hut is thoughtfully designed and fully equipped with modern comforts to make your stay extra special. You’ll find a king-size bed dressed in Egyptian cotton sheets, a luxury duvet and plush pillows for a restful night’s sleep. Underfloor heating keeps things warm in the colder months, while the log burner adds that extra cosy touch. The hut also features a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with a mains shower, with fresh towels provided for your stay. Step outside to your own private seating area—perfect for morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening. There’s also a fire pit which can be used as a BBQ, ideal for relaxed evenings under the stars. Parking is conveniently located right next to your hut. To make your stay even more special, we offer a range of optional extras that can be added to your booking—perfect for celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself. Guest access Guests are booked in to the certain shepherd hut and have access to the hut and also the outside space provide within the area of the hut. We ask guests not to wander over to other shepherd hut areas and to social distance. Each shepherd hut has its own parking space which a site plan is sent on the day of arrival Other things to note Additional fee for a log package which can be used in the log burner and the fire pit outside.
