Close to downtown Denver, Capitol Hill, Broadway, Cherry Creek, and Denver University. While listed as a private room, in reality it’s the entire second floor, complete with a warm and sunny living room, private bath and small area for preparing meals. Perfect for anyone looking to be in the heart of Denver, but also wanting a peaceful respite at the end of the day. We also appreciate everyone. Absolutely. The space As mentioned, the space is the entire second floor. It includes a generous living room as well as a private bedroom and bathroom, both of which have doors and can be locked. Visually the space is separated from the rest of the house. For the most part, we won't really see each other. Yet because it isn't fully enclosed, it is listed as a private bedroom. While it does feel private, we might hear each other on occasion. Please keep that in mind. Guests do have exclusive use of the front door and the front porch, and can come and go as needed without passing through any common spaces. We have a microwave and a small fridge. Although there is not a kitchen, and the set-up is limited, we have plates and bowls and a place to prepare some light meals. There is also a small table with some chairs. Please note, there is not a coffee maker. And lastly, guests can easily park on the street for free. Guest access Guests have exclusive use to the front porch and the front door and can come and go as they need to without having to pass through other parts of the house. During your stay As long time Denver residents, we know our city well. We are truly happy to answer any questions you might have. We are also experienced backpackers and if you happen to be passing through on a trip, or want to take a day hike, we would be happy to provide any insight or recommendations. Other things to note Please note that only the bed and bedroom are listed for sleeping. Both guests will need to use the same bed. Since it’s on the second floor, there are stairs. They are not the steepest, but you do need to walk up them. We are not completely separated from each other. We might hear you on occasion or you might hear us. There is no TV.
